When you land down, you find yourself on the way to the village of Besaid in the middle of the Besaid Aurochs. Talking to them will start a new mission. If you want, you can first continue the campains (see above) and get to the treasures: a Wall Ring by the waterfall, 3x Potion and 2x Ether in the cave, and 2x Hi-Potion as well as 1500 Gils at the beach (behind the ruins that you must climb, see Besaid and Mission 3 for more details on locations)
When all this is done, talk to any of the Besaid Aurochs. This will trigger the intervention of a guy called Beclem: accept his challenge. You can first read the tutorial before getting started into a game that you can play as much as you want afterwards. Just this once is compulsary to get 100% scenario. For more informations about the game and what the prizes are, go to the mini-games section (coming soon!)
For this time, you need 500 points within a 6 minutes time limit: this shouldn't be too difficult if you don't get attacked at all, since the only way to rack in good amounts of points is to fill your combos' bar, and it is emptied every time you're hurt. Monsters attack you only between your start point and the waterfalls' screen. After that, you'll just have one Golem that you can catch by surprise as you arrive behind him in next screen, and the rest of the way is monster-free until you join Beclem on the beach, which is your arriving point. Therefore, I strongly recommend you to run to and stay by the waterfalls until you score 500 points. Let the fiends come at you to avoid having to run too far for new amo.
If you succeed, you'll receive the "Enigma Plate" grid

Quite the same as for Kilika. Not that you can't enter the place, but there isn't much to do for now. Go to the Square to start a scene with Shelinda to increase your scenario %, then head for Mi'ihen Road where a mission is waiting for you. On the way, get 2x Lunar Curtain in the chest that's on the rock near the stairs (jump to get there). Also, remember that you can also continue the campains and train some more for the Sphere Break tournament in next chapter by addressing the people located in the stadium's basement

bridal campain |
Ok, the mission here on Mi'ihen road is very important for a lot of reasons. This is part of the whole Chocobo subplot, which started way back in Chapter 1 on the Mushroom road when you spoke to Clasko, and could be quite rewarding at the end with some very interesting items
There are a lot of items to get in this area, plus the publicity and bridal campains to continue with: you better do that before entering Rin's Agency, which will trigger the mission: once it is completed, you won't have access to part of Mi'ihen road. As for items, you can get (from south road to end of old road): a Muscle Belt, 1000 Gils, 3x Phoenix Down, 3x Antidote, 2x Hi-Potion, a Silver Bracer, then 3x Eye Drops by Rin’s Agency, 3x Phoenix Down and 2x Grenade up till the gates for Mushroom Road, and finally 1x Ether, 2x Potion, 3x Echo Screen and 3x Soft on the Ancient road
When you get to Rin's Agency, enter and a scene will start; follow the girl outside and talk to her (of course, mention that you remember her). Agree on helping her to start the "Chocobo!" mission. Follow Rikku down the road and collect the Chocobo feathers you'll find on the floor. Every time you are distanced from her, a timer will start: you have to come closer to her again within a few seconds or else you'll lose the Chocobo. Also, Rikku will stop a few time and show you the way to a chest: there will be Chocobo Feather(s) or Wing(s) waiting for you, but you also may lose the Chocobo: since losing it has no impact on the mission, I suggest you to take your time and open each chest once (if you get to the same chest another time, it will be empty)
When this part of the chase finally stops, you'll receive an item depending on the number of feathers you've picked up: a Gold Hourglass (1-3 feathers), 1x Chocobo Feather (4-14f) or 2x Chocobo Feather (15-17f). Now another mini-game starts: you must block the Chocobo's path. Standing in front of him, you'll have to guess its next move 8 times and block him by selecting either left, right or center. Each time he'll give you a hint by looking in the direction he's gonna take, which will become more obvious after five rows, as the bird will get more tired. You have to block him at least 4 times or else he will fly away for good. If you stop him seven or eight times, you can skip the next paragraph. However, you better mess a couple times at least, as skipping the next part of the chase will have a negative impact on your scenario%....
Go all the way down the road following Rikku, then when you must decide what to do, go speak to the Hover pilot on the left twice, and she'll help you catch the Chocobo at last!
You're now back to Rin's Agency only to discover that the young girl's in trouble. You have normally 1'40" to reach her, which is quite tight, although it's enough, as long as you don't stop to talk with people or loot chests (it should take you approximatively 1'15'' to run straight to the girl); however, if Clasko was on the Celsius, he'll come and give you a hand, your time limit now set to 2'30''. As always, the timer stops when you're in random battle
When you reach the girl, you'll automatically encounter a new (well, not so new if you've played FF X) boss:
Boss Strategy
Chocobo Eater: HP 2350 MP 230 Weak against fire
It is an impressive boss but nothing more difficult than those you've already met. As usual, make good use of the White Mage's Protect, Prey and Cure/Cura. In the attack department, use the Warrior's Armor and Mental Break, then Flametongue and the Black Mage's fire spells. The boss uses elemental spells and systematically attacks the girl with the most HP: of course, there are strategies to limit his abilities by stealing all his MP or casting Silence. You'll receive the "Selene Guard" grid for your victory
You end up once again on the Celsius. Go back to Mi'ihen to invite both Clasko and the girl, aboard by talking to one or the other

There are two things to do here. One is to enter the cave at the end of the valley to talk to Nooj and get Crimson Sphere 7, the other is to reach the HQ to talk to Lucil and Elma. On the way, you can get several goodies (1x Hi-Potion and 1500 Gils when you use the elevator before Djose road, 2x Turbo Ether, 1x Phoenix Down and 1x Ether in the valley, a Shining Bracer by the elevator that leads to the HQ and a Mithril Bangle in the narrow path at the HQ screen). On the way, you'll pass by sleeping Ochuses. If you want to avoid the battle, walk instead of run when you're nearby. If you want to try and fight the Ochuses, remember that they cast various negative status like poison or confuse, so be sure you have enough remedies at hand (or use White Mage's Esuna)
Don't go to Djose Temple just yet. Instead, beam down at Moonflow

**these are the benefits you make on selling tickets, max. 12500 Gils
Talk to Tobli, who is running around same place as usual. Agree on helping him sell the tickets: now, if you helped him out in chapter 1, the price he fixes for each ticket is 500 Gils, otherwise it will be 1000 Gils. Anyway, you can make quite a good profit on that by selling them at higher prices. But be carefull, if you ask for too high a price, you won’t sell the ticket. You need to sell all ten tickets for the right scenario %: there are 14 people willing to buy tickets around the Moonflow.
Address the following people to make the biggest amount (selling price between brackets, the list is given from Djose to Guadosalam):
- the woman standing alone at the very beginning of the road, near Djose (1500 Gils)
- woman south of Tobli, on the left side of the road (1500 Gils)
- woman by the save sphere (1500 Gils)
- next screen, man in the SW corner (2000 Gils)
- same screen, the man sitting on the stairs (1500 Gils)
- woman standing by the mechanism (2000 Gils)
- same screen, girl near the Hypello (2000 Gils)
- next screen, person by the Hypello (2000 Gils)
- next screen, 1st man you meet (1500 Gils)
- man by the old woman, near Guadosalam (2000 Gils)
Guadosalam

Most of the action here revolves around the main quest for both mission 6 and mission 7. However, when you're there for the 1st part of mission 6, you can also, on top of the campains, make quite a lot of money. For that, save your game and head for the data-shop (the 1st shop when you enter Guadosalam, on your right). There, talk to the man behind the counter: he'll sell you data for 10,000 Gils and a hint about whom you can resell those informations to. Ask him for more and he'll give you another hint. Then address the right person straight away and you can earn between 25,000 and 100,000 Gils, depending on which data he gave you. Fail and the value of the data diminished by 10,000 Gils. Fail three times and the data won't have any value at all. You can try this operation only once
Now, of course, while we're at it, we should try to make the most money possible, right? There are 16 different data, not all worth the same amount. Most will earn you between 25,000 and 50,000 Gils. While these are decent amounts, there is one info worth 60,000 Gils, one 70,000, another 80,000 and finally one 100,000. Which data the seller will give you is selected at random. This is why you should save just before entering the shop. Depending on the hint he'll give you, you'll know how much you can earn:
- "It's someone by the entrance to town" (The man by the save sphere, on the path to the Thunder Plain, 60,000 Gils)
- "It's a woman" (the woman by the entrance of Tobli's Agency, 70,000 Gils)
- "The guy's in a place you wouldn't expect" (the shop-keeper, shop left of Tobli's Agency, 80,000Gils)
- "This is the last person you'd expect" (the data-seller, 100,000 Gils)

**as reward for completing the mini game
When you arrive from Guadosalam, you'll see an Al Behd near the first tower. Talk to him and you'll be able to start another mini game. The goal is to recalibrate the 10 towers in the plains. Approach the towers and start the recalibrating by pressing X. To do so, you actually have to press certain given buttons to do the job in three different ways 30 times in a row:
- Towers 1, 4 and 7: press the symbole(s) appearing on screen
- Towers 2, 5 and 8: 3 symboles fall down on the screen, you must press the one highlighted before they disappear
- Towers 3, 6 and 9: memorize the chain of symboles and fire
However, there's one thing you must do here: talk to Cid. For that, you must have complained to him in Chapter 1 in Zanarkand; if you haven't, you won't find him at all. He is very easy to locate, between towers 2 and 3, on the right side of the road: there's even a purple cross on the map to help you locate him more easily
Once this is done, your only task left is to head for the chests: 4x Echo Screen about the same level as tower 2, on the left side, 3x Potion between towers 3 and 4, also on the left side, and one Pearl Necklace near the access to Rin's Agency. Now on to the North Plain: 2x Silence Grenade a little below the 6th tower, on the left side, then between towers 7 and 8, on the right side, 2x Ether and, finally, below the 9th tower, 2x Phoenix Down

*If you haven't talked to Tobli during the sidequest at the Moonflow in Chapter 1
**If you didn't get it in Chapter 1
When you arrive from the Celsius or the Thunder Plains, just after the save sphere, you'll meet a Hypello who needs your help to find musicians for Tobli. Either take the crystal path or the one in the forest to reach the spring, where you'll find Bayra. On the way, get the Icy Gleam in the forest, or the Silver Bracer on the crystal path. Once you arrive at the spring, talk to Bayra, who'll explain than you need to find his 2 other companions before he can give an answer to Tobli's request. The problem is, their souls have taken the form of circles of butterflies. You must find them and enter the circle for Donga and Pukutak to take their more usual form. There are also 3 more butterfly "rings" to find to get more rewards in later chapters. Don’t forget to address all the characters that appear
There are 2 such rings at the spring. Then take the path in the forest, and you'll soon encounter ring number 3: jump in its direction. You've found the 3 extra characters, now to Donga and Pukutak. Donga is at the crossroad in the middle section of the crystal path, and Pukutak on the other side of the spring: go all the way back to the save sphere, then take the right path. At the second screen, turn right. Once you've talked to Pukutak, you'll be brought back to Bayra, mission completed. Talk to him to receive the Haste Bangle
You can score at least one more item. Go back to the Hypello, and he'll give you the "Bitter Farewell" grid. You'll also receive Minerva's Plate if you didn't talk to Tobli before the end of the Moonflow quest in chapter 1. Finally, this is your last chance to secure Paine's special Dressphere (see Sidequests 1, Macanalia section for details)

Minigames on the Plain |
Land from the Celsius for the sidequest to begin. Follow Clasko after the cutscene. He'll need your help to get rid of all the monsters in the former training center. If you enter the ruins you'll find 16 monsters….except that 15 of them are illusions! Of course, you need to find the only real one and defeat it. What helps you though is that all fake monsters look in the direction of the true ennemy. If you miss it 3 times in a row, red arrows above the monsters pointing in the right direction make it even more easy
There are 5 battles that way: 1st battle is against a Skink, 2nd against a Queen Coeurl and an Armet, the 3rd, an Armet and a Skink, the 4th 3 Armets and the 5th puts you against a Queen Coeurl and a Skink. Be very carefull and try to kill the Queen Coeurl as soon as possible, as it can kill one character with a simple blast (although you may want her to use blast on your girls if you have, and wear, the Gun Mage dressphere to learn the ability). If this gets too complicated, you can go to Guadosalam to buy Angel Earrings for your characters to protect them from instant death
After the 5th battle, there’s a cutscene and you must help Clasko….again! Save your game and enter the final battle against 3 Blue Elemental: it can be the easiest battle of the bunch if you equip all girls with the “Menace of the Deep” grid: every single attack will be absorbed and heal your girls! You can therefore fully concentrate on attacking using either, or both, thunder elemental physical and magical attacks. You'll receive the "Alchemist" Dressphere and the "Highroad Winds" grid, most helpful if you want to help Clasko any further and catch a Chocobo; you'll also need the Gyhsal greens he'll give you (see the Chocobo quest section for the details (coming soon!))
Important: you need to catch at least one Chocobo before the end of Chapter 3!
Now there’s one more thing you have to do here: head for Rin’s Agency in the middle of the plain to trigger a scene with the young Lian and Ayde Ronso you've heard about at Gagazet in Chapter 1. Note that you can encounter them even if you haven't spoken to Kimahri back then, but that your conversation will be different. They'll escape for now: let them be, you'll meet with them again later on
Of course, there are a few items for grabs: on the plain, 2x Ether in the SW corner, 2x Chocobo Feather further north, and 2x Phoenix Down by the entrance of the ruins; 2x more Phoenix Down await just before the slope to the Valley, and another one down there
Of course, you can always take part to the minigames available on the Plain!

Don't worry, it's not as tough as it sounds!
Go all the way to the Beyond, and press X when you reach the monkey on the left, Birch: hearts should pop up over its head. Agree to carry it. Now you just need to find its mate, Sequoia, back in the Chamber (same level): it's the second on the right. By examining it, the pair will be created. Now there's only 11 more to go....
