Comments
It's the dressphere Rikku has equiped at the beginning. Maybe one of the early dresspheres you'll rely on the most if only for the now classic "steal" ability, which allows you to steal items from your opponents during battle, but also because she can steal gils, as well as HP and MP, among other things. Stealing items should become a habit throughout the game really. While she's pretty weak in terms of strength, she does hit twice for every time you select the attack command, so it can be worth it if you reinforce her strength with accessories or garnment grids

Comments
It's the dressphere Paine has equiped at the beginning. In the early stages of the game, it's really your best fighter when it comes to deal physical attacks; you may want to switch more often than not to Dark Knight once you get this dressphere in Chapter 2. However, you'll like to use many of its abilities like physical elemental attacks or the break attacks to lower the stats of your enemy.
Once you've learned Sentinel, use it and leave the two other girls to deal with the battle at hand: it's a cheap way to earn a lot of AP

Strengths & weaknesses
Great Accuracy (*****), very good Luck (****), average Agility (***), relatively weak HP, Strength, Defence, Magical Defence and Evasion (**) and weak MP and Magic (*)
Comments
This is the dressphere Yuna starts with. Quite honestly, this isn't the most useful of all dresspheres, far from it. Apart from the beginning of the game when you have only a limited number of them, and at the end if you have the cat nip accessory and that your girl is in critical condition: you can hit your opponent twelve times for 9999 HP with Trigger Happy; but that will only come really late in the game. Between those two, the only other interesting aspect I can think of is the ability to create long combos, again using Trigger Happy, which would result in the Gunner's teammates' hits to benificiate from a good boost if their action comes right behind

Comments
Yuna receive the dressphere shortly into the game. The huge problem about this dressphere is the low HP and Defence, that make her very weak against pretty much any kind of attack (although her magical defence stats are somewhat better). However, most of her abilities are worth using, either at the beginning of the battle to improve your party's stats, or during the battle against the right enemies. However, once you've improved the stats, and unless her dances can paralyze all enemies, keeping them from harming the songstress, you'd better switch to another dressphere or your girl will be quickly in great danger
