Introductionsmallspiral

Final Fantasy X-2 follows the adventures of former summoner Yuna, who after having defeated Sin was spending peaceful days back in the village of Besaid. But one day, her cousin Rikku presented her with a memosphere showing someone looking very similar to Tidus, the young man who followed her on her journey to defeat Sin and who disappeared after their victory.... She therefore embarks on a journey with the Gullwings, a team of sphere hunters, with Rikku and the mysterious new character Paine. And what was at first a quest to find a lost one becomes another adventure they were not prepared for....

About this sitesmallspiral

A long time ago, when I was playing the European release of Final Fantasy X-2 and had started to learn about creating a website, I had this plan to complete a full-color walkthrough. But life got in the way and I never quite got there, only completing about half of it. When I got back to my website, it was in severe need of updating, at all levels, and what you see here is the first result of that work.

Of course, by now Final Fantasy X-2 has been released for a while, but I still think a walkthrough is relevant. Not only because many sites which used to propose that kind of features have started to disappear, but also because each and every Final Fantasy is a classic that will be played again by new players who will discover the franchise in the years to come. Also, while I initially wanted to keep it to the walkthrough, I think that I will expand the sections a bit, notably with my own screencaps - now that I am finally capable of taking them myself - and with glossaries explaining a bit about all the cultural references in the names and intrigues. Finally, I hope this will be only the first of a whole series of walkthroughs for all the games of the series, possibly even extending them to include some other RPGs of interest, like the Star Ocean series or Kingdom Hearts.
